114年度暑假境外生注意事項 Notice for the Summer Vacation of 2025

請注意僑外生社群內公告的僑外生訊息

Please pay attention to the announcements in the Line and Facebook group.

  • This is important: If you are in a circumstance that someone asks you to pay a certain amount of money, you may be the target of a scam.  That circumstance could be renting a house, recruitment, online shopping, online romance, a once-in-a-life-time investment and so on.  Here is what you should do with it:

1.Be calm.

2.Verify.

3.Call 165 (or contact our Campus Security Report Center 0911-007-800).

 

暑假 About Summer Vacation (請點選展開 Click here for more details)
  • 暑假期間為2025年6月23日(星期一)到2025年9月7日(星期日),2025年9月8日(星期一)正式上課
    Summer vacation is from 23 Jun. 2025 to 7 Sep. 2025, the university opening day will be 8 Sep. 2025.
  • 學校暑假期間(2025年6月30日到9月5日)上班時間為週一到週四,上午9點到下午4點,7月7日到7月11日全校放假
    The office hour of the university during Summer vacation is from 9AM to 4PM, Mon. to Thu.. The university will not be open during 7 Jul. to 11 Jul. 2025
  • 尚未拿到健保卡的同學,請記得填寫暑假返鄉調查,並閱讀關於健保與入出境說明
    For those who have not had their NHI card, please fill the Survey for Your Plan during Summer Vacation, and read the Notice for Joining the NHI.
  • 暑假要住宿校內宿舍的同學,請填寫暑假住宿申請,並於入住前將暑假住宿費用及相關資料處理完畢
    f you need to stay in the dormitory during the Summer vacation, please fill this online application for your summer-vacation stay in the dormitory (you may need translation app for this page), and make sure to complete the application process and payment before the Summer vacation starts.
  • 暑假期間在台的同學,請加入僑外生寒暑假留台Line群組。
    Please join the Line group (the QRcode is below) if you plan to stay in Taiwan during summer vacation.

  • 暑假期間要放置行李在僑外生交流中心(C103A)的同學,請於114年6月3日-20日來填寫表單登記並領取姓名貼條,並於登記的預計取回日期領回,若無姓名貼條或未再預計取回日領回,則由學校一起清理

Students who wish to place their luggage at C103A during the summer vacation are requested to complete this form and collect blank labels between 3 June and 20 June 2025. Luggage must be collected on the expected date of retrieval. Items without name labels or not retrieved by the designated date will be cleared by the university.

每人限放兩箱,須標示學號、班級、姓名、預計領回日期。放置物品須做好防水、防潮。

Each student may place a maximum of two boxes. All items must be clearly labelled with your student ID, class, name, and expected date of retrieval. Please ensure all items are waterproof and moisture-resistant.

學校僅提供場地借放,不負保管責任,貴重物品請勿放置。

The university only provides the space for temporary storage and assumes no responsibility for the safekeeping of any belongings. Please do not include your valuables into your stored items.

因開學後僑外生服務社幹部需要使用僑外生交流中心,故預計取回日期最晚為114年9月15日(星期一),超過這日未取回的物品,將由學校一起清理。

As C103A will be required for the Overseas & Foreign Student Association after the opening day of the new semester, the latest date of retrieval is Monday, 15 September 2025. Any items unretrieved by this date will be disposed by the university.

Please pay attention to the validity of your ARC, and make sure to submit your application within 30 days prior to the expiry, Click here to see how to apply for ARC extension.

依據入出國及移民法第74-1條
外國人逾期停留或居留者,其處罰標準如下:
逾期10日以下者,處新臺幣1萬元罰鍰。
逾期11日以上,30日以下者,處新臺幣2萬元罰鍰。
逾期31日以上,60日以下者,處新臺幣3萬元罰鍰。
逾期61日以上,90日以下者,處新臺幣4萬元罰鍰。
逾期91日以上者,處新臺幣5萬元罰鍰。

According to Article 74-1 of the Immigration Act :
Foreigners who overstay or reside in the country will be punished as follows:
Those who overstays for less than 10 days will be fined NTD$10,000.
Those who are overstays for more than 11 days and less than 30 days will be fined NTD$20,000.
Those who are overstays for more than 31 days and less than 60 days will be fined NTD$30,000.
Those who are overstays for more than 61 days and less than 90 days will be fined NTD$40,000.
Those who are overstays for more than 91 days will be fined NTD$50,000.

工作許可 About Work Permit (請點選展開 Click here for more details)

工作證申請,工作時間除寒暑假外,每星期最長為二十小時

要申請新學期的工作許可,請使用114學年度第1學期已註冊的在學證明,可E-mail :classkh@g2.usc.edu.tw,需要2-3個工作天。

EZ Work Permit, with the exception of the winter and summer vacations, the sum of working hours shall not exceed 20 hours per week.

With Certificate of Student Status of the 1st Semester of 2025 Academic Year marked as "enrolled", you may acquire this document by sending E-mail to: classkh@g2.usc.edu.tw (the process will take 2-3 working days)

暑假期間宿舍 About the Accommodation during the Summer Vacation (請點選展開 Click here for more details)
  • 暑假宿舍關閉時間:6月23日(一)中午12點,114學年度第1學期宿舍開放時間:9月6日上午8點

The dormitory will be closed at 12 PM 23 June 2025, and open at 8 AM 6 September 2025.

貴重物品(例:現金、存摺、印章)請自行攜回,學校不負保管責任。若發現有物品置於床位、個人床位髒亂或物品未依規定放置將拍照存證,依廢棄物處理,並扣個人保證金,且不得再申請校內住宿。離宿前請務必將房間鑰匙、門禁卡等物品歸還到生輔組或MN棟管理室,最後一位離開的同學請務必將冷氣遙控器及冷氣儲值卡一併規還。若遺失將依各宿舍規定扣除保證金。

Please bring your own valuable personal belongings, such as cash, bankbook and stamp, with you, as the university is not responsible for loss or damage. Photos (of left items, untidy place or misplaced items in the room) will be taken before the left items are discarded. The deduction of deposit will be processed, and the resident will not be allowed to apply for a place in the dormitory again. Do remember to return your key and access card of the dormitory to the Accomodation Office (or the office of Building MN if you are a resident of Building M, N). Do return the AC remote and the AC card if you are the last one of the room to leave the dormitory. The deposit will also be deducted for the loss of Ac remote or the AC card.

  • 暑假期間(2025年6月23日到2025年9月5日)如有要住宿學校宿舍的同學,請於2025年7月7日前完成暑假住宿登記

請於住宿前完成繳費,繳費完成才能領取暑假住宿房間鑰匙入住。繳費後除遇不可抗力因素得檢附相關證明文件辦理退費外,不得申請退費。

If you need to stay in the dormitory during the summer vacation (from 23 June to 5 September 2025), please fill this online application for your summer-vacation stay in the dormitory before 7 July 2025.

Please complete your payment before your applied date starts, you would have the key for your summer-vacation stay after the payment is completed. The payment can only be refundable under force majeure.

 

114學年度宿舍候補登記 About Applying for a Place in the Dormitory of 2025 Academic Year (請點選展開 Click here for more details)

If you forgot to apply for a place in the dormitory for 2025 academic year (from September 2025 to June 2026, the winter vacation is not included), please fill this Application for Waiting List (you may need translation app for this page), as long as someone who gave up his place, it will go to the people on the waiting list, you will get an E-mail once there is a place available for you.

請確認自己的請假狀況,路徑:校務資訊系統-教務資訊模組-教務資訊系統-課程資訊-SC0108出缺勤紀錄查詢,缺曠紀錄以SC0108內的資料為主。

Please check your attendance record in the Administration System after two weeks of taking leave online, . The path is Administration System - Academic Affair Module - Academic Affair System - Course Selection - SC0108 Attendance Record. (The attendance records will be based on the information in SC0108 Attendance Record.)
