(二)新生僑外生居留證申辦，網頁裡面有新生申辦居留證需要的文件，暫時缺件的項目(如港澳生的體檢證明)，請先上傳一個空白的檔案，等同學都入台後，會另外協調時間一起去做港澳生體檢。
在學證明開立單位：註冊課務二組 classkh@g2.usc.edu.tw ，請在主旨說明：學號-115學年度第1學期已註冊在學證明(需要2-3個工作天)
Apply for ARC for the First Time, please follow the instruction of the page to upload the required documents. If you do not have certain document at hand, please upload a blank word file as the substitution.
Certificate of Enrollment (issued within a month by the Registration and Curriculum Section): classkh@g2.usc.edu.tw , Subject：Student ID-115學年度第1學期已註冊在學證明 (the process will take 2-3 working days).
請務必將申請文件送出，有缺件的話，移民署審查後會退件。沒有送出申請件的話，簽證或是入台證過期了，是會罰錢的，若3個月沒有送件，就無法申請居留證了，要出境回本國重新申請簽證或入台證，再入台後才能辦理居留證。
The application is required to be submitted within 15 days after your entry, there will be a penalty if you fail to do so. Do remember to submit your application ASAP, it is fine that the Immigration Agency returns your application for amendments. If you do not submit your application within 3 months after your entry, you will be asked to depart, and you will have to apply for a new visa, then apply for ARC after you come to Taiwan.

依據入出國及移民法第74-1條：
外國人逾期停留或居留者，其處罰標準如下：
逾期１０日以下者，處新臺幣1萬元罰鍰。
逾期１１日以上，３０日以下者，處新臺幣2萬元罰鍰。
逾期３１日以上，６０日以下者，處新臺幣3萬元罰鍰。
逾期６１日以上，９０日以下者，處新臺幣4萬元罰鍰。
逾期９１日以上者，處新臺幣5萬元罰鍰。
According to Article 74-1 of the Immigration Act :
Foreigners who overstay or reside in the country will be punished as follows:
Those who overstays for less than 10 days will be fined NTD$10,000.
Those who are overstays for more than 11 days and less than 30 days will be fined NTD$20,000.
Those who are overstays for more than 31 days and less than 60 days will be fined NTD$30,000.
Those who are overstays for more than 61 days and less than 90 days will be fined NTD$40,000.
Those who are overstays for more than 91 days will be fined NTD$50,000.

It is illegal to work during the time when your application is under examination. You can start working after obtaining a valid Work Permit.
For repairs related to water, electricity, internet facilities, and general items (such as washing machines, dryer malfunctions, power outages, etc.), please report them in the dormitory repair application.

If you forgot to apply for a place in the dormitory for academic year 2026-2027 (from September 2025 to June 2026, the winter vacation is not included), please fill this Application for Waiting List (you may need translation app for this page), as long as someone who gave up his place, it will go to the people on the waiting list in order, you will get an E-mail once there is a place available for you.
115學年度清寒僑生助學金，申請截止：115年10月2日(星期五)，申請同學於期限內請將填寫完整之申請表與相關證明、印章一顆交到生輔二組。(eligible for Overseas Chinese students only)，please hand the completed application form, relevant documents and a signet to the office of Student Life Section before 2 October 2026.
