• 目前學校陸續接到移民署提醒僑外生同學居留證屆期，務必提前辦理延期的通知，但仍有同學忘記辦理居留證延期，導致居留證逾期，除須親自前往移民署服務站辦理延期之外，健保資格也會取消，須自新居留證核發日起算六個月後才能再加入健保。

The university has received notification letters from the Immigration Agency that remind international students to make ARC extension within a month before expiration. However, there are students who forget to apply for an extension and become overstayed. Once your ARC expires and the extension is not applied, you will have to go to the Immigration Agency to apply for ARC extension instead of applying on the Online Application System. Also, an expired ARC would cause your NHI insurance status to be cancelled until 6 months after you have your valid ARC.

再次提醒各位僑外生同學：

1.注意自己的居留證效期，並於居留證到期前一個月辦理延期。

Please pay attention to your validity period of ARC, and remember to apply for an extension within a month before the expiration.

2.114學年度入學的新生僑外生同學，請務必確認已經完成居留證申請送件，以免影響在台的其他權益。

• 依據入出國及移民法第74-1條：

外國人逾期停留或居留者，其處罰標準如下：
逾期１０日以下者，處新臺幣1萬元罰鍰。
逾期１１日以上，３０日以下者，處新臺幣2萬元罰鍰。
逾期３１日以上，６０日以下者，處新臺幣3萬元罰鍰。
逾期６１日以上，９０日以下者，處新臺幣4萬元罰鍰。
逾期９１日以上者，處新臺幣5萬元罰鍰。

According to Article 74-1 of the Immigration Act:
an alien who overstays a visit or a period of residence shall be fined:
A fine of 10,000 NTD will be charged for overstayed for no more than 10 days
A fine of 20,000 NTD will be charged for overstayed for 11-30 days
A fine of 30,000 NTD will be charged for overstayed for 31-60 days
A fine of 40,000 NTD will be charged for overstayed for 61-90 days
A fine of 50,000 NTD will be charged for overstayed for more than 91 days
