1.Getting Ready Before Departure:

(1)Starting from 13th Oct. 2022, all arrivals are required to implement 7-day-self-initiated epidemic prevention, and the location needs to be "one person per room with a private bathroom".

(2)Please check your flight, luggage and passport 24 hours before departure.

(a)Please have your thermometer packed in your luggage.

(b)Do not bring meat products into Taiwan, please check Prohibited Items before packing your luggage.

(c)From 00:00 on August 15 (incoming flight's scheduled arrival time in Taiwan), all travelers coming to Taiwan will no longer be required to provide a result of a PCR test taken within two days of their flight schedule time. However, those who test positive abroad are still required to wait over seven days from their specimen collection date before taking a flight to Taiwan in order to prevent cross-border transmission of the disease.

2.After Arriving Your Departure Airport:

(1)Answer honestly when being asked by the airport staff of your health condition, especially when you have symptoms such as sneezing, coughing, running nose or sour throat.

(2)Please leave a message in the Line group after checking in at the airline counter, before boarding and arrival, so we would know everything is OK。

3.Arrival:

(1)After you leave the plane, you will be getting through the Immigration-Luggage collecting-Receiving 1 kits of rapid test (Do keep them properly with you)-Cutsom-Arrival Hall.

(2)If you have symptoms such as sneezing, coughing, running nose or sour throat, you will be asked to conduct a PCR test (saliva samples collecting), then you will be led to take a quarantine taxi to your location of self-initiated epidemic prevention (The payment of the taxi will be by the meter since 13th Oct. 2022, and you will need to pay the fare for around 10,000NTD from Taoyuan International Airport to Kaohsiung).

(3)The counters of mobile service are now in the Arrival Hall, you need to buy a sim card valid for at least 10 days, then report your phone number in the Line group once you have your phone properly set.  There are banks near the luggage counter, you may get cash before or after collecting your luggage.

(4)If you have ARC, you may ask question in the 僑外生入台聯繫群組 if something happens during your entry process.

(5)If you do not have ARC yet, please check your message in the Line group.

4.Further Notice During Self-Initiated Epidemic Prevention Period:

(1)There will no rapid test supply from the airport since 1st March 2023. It is fine if you would like to go out during these 7 days, please make sure you have extra kits of rapid test with you, and use it when you have symptoms, if the result is positive, you must report the POSITIVE RESULT HERE.

(2)Please report your result of rapit test HERE when you about to finish the 7-day-self-initiated epidemic prevention.

(3)Apply for ARC

a.Link for applying ARC : You need to apply for your ARC as soon as possible by uploading the required documents. If you do not have certain document, please create a new file named "further document required" and attach it to the required place.  Do remember to submit it to the Immigration, they would return your submission so you can correct your attachment.

b. If you are from Hong Kong or Macao, you need to apply for the Uniform UI number CLICK HERE (you must enter Taiwan for at least 4 hours. Please use the university address in your application: 高雄市內門區大學路200號. The Uniform UI number is also required while you apply for ARC.
